Policewoman saves abandoned newborn baby’s life found in Colombian forest by breastfeeding her

A woman named Edinora, who was picking oranges in a Columbian forest, was stupefy for a few second when she heard the sound of a crying baby. She discovered a baby girl abandoned by her mother and immediately called the police.
The police officers arrived quickly, including Luisa Fernanda Urrea. At first she thought she was looking at a cat, but when approached, shock, she found a newborn baby girl.
The umbilical cord was still attached to her, and her life was in danger. Because the girl had not been nourished, she could have died at any moment from starvation and hypothermia.
At that point, Luisa made a gesture that astonished all those around her. Instinctively, she took the child in her arms and breastfeeding her. Officer Urrea saved toddler’s life this way.
