I completely adore string lights. They’re a basic, sentimental approach to switch up the feel in pretty much any space. Quite a while back, a Finnish artist named Johanna Hyrkäs took string lights, consolidated it with a floor covering, and made the Light Carpet by knitting around the outside of a light-up rope.
Roused by the Light Carpet, Carmen from the mainstream stitch blog Crafty Queens chose to make one for herself. In this way, she got a line of LED lights and a couple of skeins of material yarn, and started the to some degree confounded stitching procedure of shaping a loop.
