Pope Leaves Factory Sticker On Hat To Garner Street Cred

VATICAN CITY—After getting a fresh out of the plastic new Pope cap at a Vatican City Lids retail shop, Pope Francis supposedly chose to leave the New Era 59FIFTY factory sticker on the hat, so as to earn street cred with local youths.

As opposed to peeling off the sticker from his new papal hat, Pope Francis settled on the chic choice to “leave that bad boy on there,” as per sources.

“I’m making Catholicism hip and relatable once more,” Francis said while he labored his shine factory decal with pride. “The children will know I’m ‘dope with the trends’ the point at which they espy my New Era sticker and realize that I’m the real deal, yo.”

At publishing time, Pope Francis had put resources into a costly set of pre-torn, manufacturing faded papal robes.
