Muhammad Ali, the silver-tongue boxer and social equality champion who broadly announced himself “The Greatest” and after that spent a lifetime satisfying the charging, died at age of 74. Ali passed away Friday at a Phoenix-region healing center, where he had spent the previous few days being dealt with for respiratory inconveniences.
