A Bottlenose Dolphin needed help to get a fishing hook and line of it’s left pectoral fin

Amid a night dive last January at Gadren Eel Cove in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii; a bottlenose dolphin discovered in an fishing line moved toward scuba diver Keller Laros for help.

The dolphin’s left pectoral fin was trapped, wrapped around fishing line with a hook stuck into its body. The divers, who were very much prepared, flagged the dolphin to come over. Once they calm it down, they started to cut the fishing net from the dolphin, in order to free him.

Because of Martina Wing this astounding film was gotten on film.
