We’ve probably all been to a high school prep rally, intended to strengthen school spirit and support the home team. But I don’t know how many of us saw amazing performances like this one.
Wearing full Wizard of Oz clothes, the dance team at Walden Grove High School in Sahuarita, Arizona, treated its public a month ago to an amazing homecoming pep rallies ever!
The sketch begins pretty normal, with Dorothy jumping around the theater and Judy Garland’s beautiful song, “Some place Over the Rainbow,” streaming out melodically over the loudspeakers.
In any case, a few seconds later, things take a fairly intriguing turn. The Scarecrow appear in the middle of the stage, and all the harmony flies out the window as “Rainbow” is all of a sudden replaced with Cypress Hill’s more energetic “Crazy in the Membrane.”
This is truly an amazing performance!
