Dolphins ‘prank’ paddle boarder and we can’t stop laughing

Andrew Hill, a paddle boarder in Gracetown, Australia, had a funny encounter with the ocean’s most friendly creatures, dolphins.

While he was paddle boarding on the ocean trying to catch a wave, a pond of 20 dolphins who where chasing fish, were exactly under Andrew’s wave. One of the dolphins then jump out of the water and knocked Andrew from his board with a nice hit.

Apparently the dolphin just played a “friendly” prank to Andrew.

Some people who work with dolphins even came with arguments:

“I worked with dolphins for a summer internship and I am entirely certain this was intentional,” a commentor wrote. “I’m also fairly confident it was not meant aggressively otherwise the dolphin would have hit rostrum (nose) first which can cause serious injury.”

“They are super mischievous and often do things/make up games for the fun of it. They even seem to enjoy causing vexation.”
