After his success in “The Room” and “The Disaster Artist,” Tommy Wiseau has been battling for one of the most notorious roles ever: Batman’s worst enemy, The Joker. And the guys from Nerdist helped him to demonstrate the world what he can bring to this amazing role!
On Monday, Nerdist uploaded Wiseau’s “audition tape” for the role, and after only a few seconds of watching him holler “WHY SO SERIOUS?” in full Joker outfit will haunt your dreams for eternity.
He’s tired, he’s wasted, and he needs to blast Gotham. Wiseau’s eyes, usually hidden behind a pair of sunglasses, looks like they stare into your spirit from inside a full face of makeup. And that laugh! That laugh! A dead, guttural snickering that sounds more like a stomach fit than a reaction to humor! It is more than the human heart can endure.
Without a doubt, the three-minute video is pretty much a joke and a good one. Be that as it may, some way or another, the thing manages to still be scary as hell. If Wiseau’s doesn’t manage to get the Joker role, hopefully he could in any event discover his way into Suicide Squad 2? Anyway, he’d make a better Joker than Jared Leto.
